Eidiyan wins Iran’s first gold in history of athletic championships

TEHRAN - Nazaninftemeh Eidiyan claimed a gold medal in the 4th Asian U18 Athletics Championships on Saturday.

She won a gold at the 400 m hurdles, clocking 1:01.03. It’s the first gold medal of history of Iran in the women’s division.

Anastassiya Koloda of Kazakhstan won silver with 1:01.52 and bronze medal went to Bo-an Yi of Chinese Taipei with 1:02.40.

The competition is being held from October 13 to 16 in Kuwait.
